Irika Sargent is an American Emmy award-winning journalist who currently co-anchors for CBS 2 Chicago as a weekday evening newscast at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. together with Brad Edwards.

Sargent joined the CBS 2 team in 2015, just immediately after resigning from WFOR-TV in Miami.

Sargent kicked off her career with KOMU-TV NBC in Columbia, where she served as a reporter for the evening newscast at WPMI-TV in Mobile.
