ISLAMABAD: Police officer Zulfiqar Ahmed Cheema’s book, Do Tok Baatein (straight talk), was launched at the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) here on Friday.
The book-launching ceremony was attended by a large number of people.
In his book, Mr Cheema, the inspector general of the National Highways and Motorway Police, who is retiring from service on December 31, 2014, has covered various issues from love of mother to love of the motherland.
Mr Cheema has also tried to promote optimism and show the brighter aspect of the country.
The speakers, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Sardar Mehtab Ahmed Khan, State Minister for Capital Administration and Development Division Barrister Usman Ibrahim, former federal minister Qamar Zaman Kaira and retired Lt-Gen Hameed Gul, praised Mr Cheema for his impartial writing and maintaining high standards of financial and moral integrity during his service.
