TV star Bill Oddie reassured fans that he was “still here” but “very confused” in his latest social media post, after suffering from Lithium toxicity.
The year-old, who is best known for programmes such as Springwatch, How to Watch Wildlife and Birding with Bill Oddie, said he had been ill for most of the summer.
Bill, one third of comedy trio The Goodies, took to Twitter yesterday to give his fans an update on his health.
His post began: “Just so you know, I have been very ill most of this summer.”
The birder told his 78, followers the reason behind his illness was “Lithium toxicity” and that it was “almost fatal".
He explained that he was still a bit disorientated and wasn’t sure when he would return to television screens.
